Tempest Got Talent- Omagh

Shopping in Omagh in the past has been a bit boring. Shops have opened and closed constantly over the past few years due to the recession. But now, we do have a good variety of clothes, shoes and jewellery stores. It’s important for stores to constantly be looking at competitors and offering something that little bit extra.   So it’s good to see local store Tempest step up their game with some ‘Tempest got Talent’. It’s a great way to involve the local community in a fun competition whilst attracting new customers.

I was in the town last Saturday and noticed a great buzz in the showground’s. With local business Chez Manu outside Tempest making DEVINE crepes and entertainment, what more could you want with the sun shining.

I spoke to store manager of Omagh Tempest, Deborah McLaren about the event.

Tempest got talent is a talent competition just like Britain’s Got Talent.  We decided to run the competition to create some family entertainment over the summer. Every Saturday we have dancers, singers and various other talented local people perform here in the store.   We then upload the act onto Facebook and the person with the most votes will win various prizes.”

Pop into your local Tempest for a variety of concessions for the fashion conscious female. Oh, and now males with Jack Jones! No more standing outside boys!
